Milano Bedding, one of the Made in Italy craftsmanship companies based in Brianza, Northern Italy, did not stop during the lockdown and continued to work in smart working to complete the projects that it should have exhibited at the Salone del Mobile in Milan.
This constant commitment leads the company to present two new sofa beds: Vivien and Mingus.
«We are very proud to have reached this goal», says Roberto de Lorenzo, Milano Bedding CEO, «these were very intense months that required a great deal of effort from everyone to reorganize work and resources. Personally, I felt that carrying out these new models, despite the objective difficulties, was a duty and a commitment to all those who collaborate with us. Today, we can say that we have succeeded and we hope that our Made in Italy will continue to be appreciated and supported».
Vivien, designed by Alessandro Elli, is a sofa and sofa bed in balance between contemporary design and sinuous shapes of the 50s and 60s. The total lack of edges and its harmonious lines create a fluid, cozy and elegant aesthetic, with graceful proportions for timeless design. The enveloping backrest, which features the model, also becomes an armrest and, together with the soft cushioning, it provides an excellent comfort.
Mingus is a sofa bed featuring a clean and regular shape, highlighted by the visible stitching, combined with soft cushions: these two features make the model attractive and of an informal, contemporary elegance.
