Ultrashield® by Déco composite wood is confirmed as the solution that architects choose to redevelop and enhance the outdoor spaces of prestigious residences. As for Villa Ester, overlooking the splendid setting of the Gulf of Catania, in the Italian region Sicily, recently renovated by Deodati Associati.
The contemporary residence, location for events, with refined minimal architecture, is characterized by the stylistic continuum between interiors and exteriors.
The open space, defined by a spectacular swimming pool, lounge and green areas, takes up the clear lines of the project with the particularity of interspersing different fine finishes.
Among these, installed in various areas of the garden, we find the Ultrashield® decking, chosen in the reduced joint system with Antique finish which, with its typical grey veins, integrates perfectly into the environment, giving the advantages of composite wood, a pleasant aesthetic effect and the warmth of natural wood, even to the touch.
Furthermore, thanks to the versatility of Twix® Classic modular cladding with slatted effect, in Ultrashield® too, the architects created a wooden “frame” around some olive trees, thus further characterizing the green area.
Thanks to the family of Ultrashield® by Déco composite wood solutions, it is possible to create infinite design choices that combine an important aesthetic value with the latest generation technical characteristics.
All Ultrashield® profiles are coated with a special polymeric shield, extruded together with the internal product mix, which protects the slat making it durable, immune to colour variations over time and resistant to scratches and stains. Furthermore, these coatings are not afraid of any external aggression, natural, environmental or chemical, giving a resistance up to 25 years from installation, without maintenance.
In line with the Déco philosophy, Ultrashield® is a family of eco-sustainable solutions: the wood fibre from which it is made comes from recycled wood shavings meaning it has no impact on deforestation and the HDPE (high-density polyethylene) component is a completely biodegradable PVC substitute.
