The Vision collection, designed by Monica Graffeo, creative director and product designer of Rexa, inaugurates a completely innovative concept for the bathroom, providing new experiences of use in which functionality and sensoriality come together, creating a human-sized harmonic ensemble.
“Vision evokes a totem, where to find harmony between body and soul, between the sensoriality of materials and the functionality of objects. This reflects Rexa’s ability to continuously evolve its furniture concept and turn it into an innovative furnishing system designed around the person”, describes Marco Diana, Sales Manager at Rexa.
With its monolithic architectures with a scenic effect that can be created by choosing from a wide range of sizes, finishes and materials (among which gres, wood, Fenix®, Corian® and Eco.malta), Vision was born from the idea of transforming the wall into a vertical container of functions, integrating the washbasins, which become ‘fountains’ designed to unveil the world of water and its rituals, and hiding equipped technical compartments customizable with accessories, trays, electrical sockets, hairdryer holders – to offer maximum functionality and flexibility with an essential and elegant aesthetic.
By adding sculpted wall-hung modules with a reduced depth (18 cm), Vision creates compositions that appear as storage volumes of great visual impact that develop vertically, allowing space for the surrounding environment. Columns, wall units, mirrors, folding doors that become shelves: all the elements of the collection are designed for endless configurations, micro-architectures to build your own personal vision of the bathroom.
The washbasins are made with materials suitable for contact with water: the Rexa R&D team has in fact defined in detail aspects such as siphon inspection, impermeability of the materials and ease of use.
A complete program, designed to offer a completely new use-experience of the bathroom. A project that perfectly matches Rexa’s philosophy and its concep of this space of the house, which is intimate and sensorial, but at the same time functional and multi-purpose.
“The synergy with Rexa comes from a shared attitude to look beyond, while keeping a strong sense of concreteness. That’s how Vision was born: a project that focuses on a limited depth storage concept and develops towards vertical proportions, encompassing the washbasin and leaving free space for an improved space experience, and in order to _nd things right where we need them, not in the second or third row, but everything in the foreground”. This is how Monica Graffeo describes the Vision collection born from her design.
