Sculptural element shaped by a single block of marble.
The Cava bathtub, designed by Studio Monica Graffeo and presented during the recent Milan Design Week, is inspired by the amphora, a form of memory conceived to contain water, combined with an ancient and precious material such as marble.
Its essence takes shape from a single block of marble, carved and shaped to give life to an element with a strong sculptural value, solid and timeless, but at the same time soft and sinuous lines. An element that becomes the fulcrum of the bathroom, the protagonist of well-being, thanks to its scenic importance as well as the value of the manufacturing and material.
Cava is an expression of elegance and materiality. Proposed Carrara marble, Nero Marquina, Verde Alpi and Rosso Levanto, the latest insertion at Fuorisalone 2024: the research and the culture of materials is in fact an identity focus of Rexa that has been reaffirmed with the introduction of this marble from the Ligurian Riviera, characterized by its unmistakable dark red colour, sometimes tending to purple, with long and few white and green veins.
Cava fully represents the identity of Rexa where refinement and aesthetic elegance are combined with functionality, to enhance the bathroom that becomes a space for living, intimate, sensory and practical, that binds to the enveloping and warm perceptions that come from Earth.
