In the heart of Sicily’s eastern coast, just fews steps away from the stunning Isola Bella, stands Mon Repos Avenir, a boutique hotel featuring exclusive suites. The building, recently the subject of a major renovation project, is distinguished by its harmonious integration with the surrounding natural landscape, thanks also to the Ultrashield® composite wood coverings by Déco. This choice was ideal to combine aesthetic appeal with technical performance, even for properties located close to the sea.
Designed by architect Sergio La Spina, the project features a modern and minimal architectural language. The use of Ultrashield® composite wood boards, both for flooring and façade cladding, made it possible to create surfaces with a natural look, reproducing the tactile quality of traditional wood while meeting the demands of durability and low maintenance required in contemporary architecture.
A focal point of the project is the pool area, an oasis of relaxation for guests overlooking the breathtaking view of Isola Bella. It is perfectly integrated into the landscape, enhancing the enjoyment of outdoor spaces not only from a visual perspective but also in terms of comfort and usability.
